Designing Bathroom Floor Plans

Small bathrooms are a thing of the past now, and modern homes today have much larger, brighter and more functional bathrooms. They also have more bathrooms than were used in the past. All homes require at least one bathroom, most modern homes have one and one half or more. Ideally, every bedroom should have its own bath, however this is seldom possible.
When designing a floor plan you also want to make sure that in the hall ways and high traffic areas that there is more than enough room to get around. Bathrooms within the floor plan can really do great things for the design if it is executed properly and time is spent going over different ideas. Remember that when designing the bathroom for a floor plan that you allow enough space for whatever items you want to incorporate within your design.
